Change is coming soon!!!!

I admit my website hasn't been updated much (at all...) since the end of my 2009 road trip, but lots has happened since then, and soon my site will reflect that.

I've taken mini trips to Ice Lake Basin, Glacier National Park, snowy Yosemite, and Utah's high Unintas...and somewhere along the way I decided I wasn't quite as done with long-term road tripping as I had previously thought. I spent three weeks in the Jasper and Banff area up in Canada last August, and then embarked on a two month adventure throughout the West Coast with my other half, Paul. We backpacked through the Wemenuche Wilderness before spending a couple days at The Cirque, day hiked through Glacier and Rainier National Parks, and played in the rain for what seemed like weeks coming down the Wasington and Oregon coasts. We also finally made it to Havasu Falls, and won a permit in the lottery to hike The Subway, which was as spectacular as everyone always says it is.

While hiking in Glacier, I also had an epiphany for how I can combine my love of the outdoors with my passion for cooking, and I'm now working towards opening a dehydrated backpacking meal business. I'll be growing the bulk of the produce for the meals, and have just finished putting in a very large garden, which has pretty much consumed my life for the past two months. Because it will take a while to get the backpacking meal business off the ground, my plan has evolved to include growing cut flowers for the farmer's market, where I will also be displaying (and hopefully selling!) my photography. I'll be debuting several images from my most recent trips, and many old favorites.

Gardner Village - Saturdays, June through September, and possibly October....

And if you're not....check back soon, I'm hoping to make progress again on the photo editing backlog after the insanity of getting the garden in and getting ready for the markets has passed. I'm intending to make some big changes to how my site is organized, add a ton of new photos, and enable online print ordering again.
